Recreation in the Crimea. You are welcome to sunny Feodosiya! Feodosiya - is one of the pearls in the Crimean necklace. The city if like a history lesson come to life. As you walk along the streets of ancient Karantin, you feel as if history had come back. Here are the ruins of ancient Genoa Fortress still remained, the cliffs are not especially high there so at some sites you can go down to bathe in the sea, though it is a bit wild there, with waves breaking and boiling against the rocks further out. Feodosiya oozes a life and character that , given the opportunity to work its magic on you( it doesn’t take long), cannot leave you indifferent. Leaving aside The great Aivazovsky Gallery, Grin’s Museum, elegance of the promenade, the essence of this town in the life pulsing through its streets. The promenade is one of the busiest spots in Feodosiya . Buskers entertain the crowds with anything from impromptu song to a whatever you want, tourist pay god money to have their faces ridiculed by cruel cartoonists and kids queue to dance al night away at the night club. By night the whole area can seem like one big youthful party. It is a popular meeting place for friends looking for a drink and a chat after a hard day’s slog. One of the main reasons I like it is that it is always lively and colorful, with people dashing around going about their business , the place is a bit of a mess , but the streets are always exciting, full of surprises around every corner. It is packed with endless clubs, pubs, and cafes, promenade is like a magnet for everyone from all over the world, I do think that promenade is something like a “ must” for everyone to visit. All you need is to enjoy it fully is plenty of time and a bit of patience! |
